Chef Alain Ducasse Opens New Paris Restaurant Champeaux

Restaurant: Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse has launched a new brasserie, Champeaux, in Paris’ recently rejuvenated Les Halles neighborhood. The French-born chef adds Champeaux to his growing number of spots, which include Le Meurice and Aux Lyonnais in Paris and Le Louis XV in Monaco.

CuisineSoufflés will be the restaurant’s signature dish, with sweet and savory options to choose from; traditional brasserie fare such as deviled eggs and croque-monsieur will also be included on the menu.

Prices: Starters and desserts are priced from about $7, with dishes of the day at $25 and à la carte options from around $57.

Hours: 8 a.m. to midnight (open until 1 a.m. on Saturday)
