Not everything that glitters is gold—even when it’s attached to satin lingerie.

According to MarketWatch, British lingerie company Agent Provocateur’s U.S. operations has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Bankruptcy was filed in order to sell off its assets to Four Marketing Group, which had already taken over the company’s U.K. flagship operations.

Once one of the premiere ladies’ lingerie brands in the world, Agent Provocateur was founded by the son of Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren, John Corré. During its heyday, the company employed some of the world’s most famous models, including Kate Moss and Chloe Hayward, and even Hollywood actresses Penélope Cruz and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Take a look at some more of the former brand’s best-known models below. At the bottom, watch Cruz’s directorial debut shot for the brand.
