For the first time in three months, Today was the most-watched morning news program. On Nov. 29, co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb announced that long-time Today host Matt Lauer had been fired due to “inappropriate sexual behavior.” Since then, Today has featured reporting on the matter by NBC News correspondent Stephanie Gosk. The show has more viewers between 25-and-54-years-old than its two main rivals, Good Morning America and CBS This Morning.
