Beverley Hills Mansion on Sale for Record-Breaking $135 Million

If the estate goes for its asking price, it would be the most expensive home sold in Los Angeles.

The Wallingford Estate has a 31,000-square foot main house and sits on five acres of the coveted Beverly Hills 90210 area code, just 10 minutes from the Beverly Hills Hotel. Originally built as a modern day version of “Le Petit Trianon,” Marie Antoinette’s château in Versailles, the home was listed today for $135 million. And for the jet-setters who are likely to be interested in it, the property is just 20 minutes from “LA’s premier private airport,” according to Town & Country.

The current owner, developer Gala Asher, has upgraded the home with “the latest in technology, home automation, lighting, audio, and video, with magnificently refined rooms and luxuriously designed outdoor spaces.” Asher bought the property for $22 million just two years ago. The house has  12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, and space for 90 cars. There is a sports complex offering basketball, paddle tennis/pickleball, weight training, cardio, and a boxing ring.
