A New York Times reporter dished on what it’s really like to spend a night in One57, one of Manhattan’s most distinguishable, expensive and notorious luxury apartment buildings — and as long as you’re inside, you might not need to leave.

Soaring more than 1,000 feet above Central Park, the so-called “supertall” on West 57th street is the perfect place for foreign buyers to park their cash, with some units going for as much as $100 million. It also has every amenity its tenants could possibly need, as the Times’ Penelope Green found out: dinner cooked by a private chef, in-home shopping, hair and makeup pilots or a swim, private meditation. The list is luxurious, long and made to be taken advantage of.
