Samsung is on its way toward delivering a smartphone with a foldable touchscreen to the consumer market, according to a story in The Washington Post. Though the foldable touch screen may be hard to picture, the phone will likely be unveiled by the end of 2018, as stated by Samsung’s mobile division chief DJ Koh recently at a Berlin trade show.
Samsung has been teasing its foldable screen concept since 2011. In theory, the foldable screen smartphone would be able to expand to a tablet-like device. Concept designs of the foldable screen have been showcased in the past at Las Vegas’ CES trade show.
Samsung’s developer conference in November would be a natural landing spot for the debut of this potentially-revolutionary smartphone.Read the full story at The Washington Post
