Louis C.K. has started making jokes about his masturbation scandal, according to Page Six. The comedian told an audience at the West Side Comedy Club in Manhattan, “I lost $35 million in an hour.”

One person in the audience told LaughSpin that C.K. said “he’s been to hell and back.”

“He was so genuine and reflected on how weird his year was,” said LaughSpin host AMarie Castillo, according to Page Six. “Tried out some new dark and dirty material.”

Last year, C.K., 51, confessed to masturbating in front of several women without their consent. He has been slowly reappearing on the comedy scene, including a few surprise shows at the Comedy Cellar and Caroline’s. His “comeback” has received mixed reactions.

During his set on Wednesday, C.K. also joked about being in hell with Adolf Hitler, reports Page Six.
