Comedians across late-night television reacted in uniform Monday night following President Trump’s widely criticized meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, falling in step with their usual arch enemies on Fox News.
“Today has shaken me to my core — and I don’t need to point out that at 54 there’s not a lot of core left,” Colbert cracked.
“If you’re wondering whether or not Vladimir Putin has an incriminating video of Donald Trump, we now know beyond a treasonable doubt that he does,” Jimmy Kimmel said.
Jimmy Fallon weighed in as well, saying: “According to experts, Trump and Putin had a lot to negotiate in their meeting. Trump says negotiations went great: Putin now controls New York and California, and in exchange, Trump got three magic beans.”
