Comedian Kathy Griffin told Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday night that she is friends with adult film actress Stormy Daniels — and that the two are going “to take that a—hole down,” referencing the president.

Griffin was embroiled in heated controversy earlier this year after she released a video depicting the decapitated head of President Trump, a stunt which she ended up issuing a public apology for. Telling Kimmel the joke is now allowing her to travel the world for her new nearly sold-out comedy tour, she dished on her newfound friendship with Daniels, including what the text messages between the two read after Daniels was arrested in Ohio on Wednesday night for “illegal sexual activity.”
