John Oliver questioned Dustin Hoffman about the sexual harassment allegations facing Hoffman during a panel at an anniversary screening of Wag the Dog. Oliver was moderating the panel and brought up the allegation made against Hoffman by Anna Graham Hunter that he had groped her when she was 17-years-old. Oliver said that he felt Hoffman’s apology to Graham Hunter at the time she made her allegation public was insufficient. Hoffman defended himself against the line of questioning. Oliver left it with saying he couldn’t “leave certain things unaddressed” because “no one stands up to powerful men.”
