Have you ever watched the Iron Man movies and wished you had his suit? Now you can— kind of.
Richard Browning has created a jet suit that is now on sale for roughly $442,396. Browning built it using 3D printed parts, specialist electronics and five jet engines. Once you’re all strapped in and figure out how to use it, you can zoom around at speeds of 32 miles per hour and ascend to altitudes of 12,000 feet, according to CNN.
Browning, a 39-year-old former oil trader, said his invention was inspired by his time with the Royal Marines.
“In that environment you get to learn quite quickly that you can push yourself to quite some degree,” says Browning, according to CNN. “And what would happen if you added some flight horse power to that machine, that can learn to adapt and coordinate in such an elegant way?”Read the full story at CNN
