Whatever a reader’s image of what life was like inside Donald Trump’s successful campaign to become president, their imagination won’t do it justice. Fortunately, ex-campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie, another top aide, are pulling back the curtain with their new tell-all book, Let Trump Be Trump. Among the revelations: all the president’s menu on good days consisted of “two Big Macs, two Fillet-O-Fish, and a chocolate malted” from McDonald’s, and press secretary Hope Hicks would press her boss’s pants, while he was still wearing them. And then there was the angry explosions at subordinates. “Sooner or later, everybody who works for Donald Trump will see a side of him that makes you wonder why you took a job with him in the first place,” the authors write.
