Falling Snow Splinters Windshield in Terrifying Dashcam Video

More proof that driving in the winter is the worst.

Dashcam footage recently posted to YouTube shows a driver in Kalamazoo, Michigan, experiencing firsthand that gives millions of commuters something new to fear this winter: Snow and ice, displaced by a plow on a bridge, rains down and shatters the SUV’s windshield.

MSN reports the driver, Kevin Hoffer, said he “thought nothing of it” when he saw the plow passing by overhead.

“I didn’t expect [the snow] to hit,” Hoffer said. “I expected to actually get past it or for it to come down before it got to me.”

“Soon as it hit the windshield, the windshield just shattered.”

Luckily, Hoffer wasn’t injured. Take a look at the clip below.
