Falling Snow Splinters Windshield in Terrifying Dashcam Video

More proof that driving in the winter is the worst.

Dashcam footage recently posted to YouTube shows a driver in Kalamazoo, Michigan, experiencing firsthand that gives millions of commuters something new to fear this winter: Snow and ice, displaced by a plow on a bridge, rains down and shatters the SUV’s windshield.

MSN reports the driver, Kevin Hoffer, said he “thought nothing of it” when he saw the plow passing by overhead.

“I didn’t expect [the snow] to hit,” Hoffer said. “I expected to actually get past it or for it to come down before it got to me.”

“Soon as it hit the windshield, the windshield just shattered.”
