Fans of  Tom Cruise and his zooming 1986 blockbuster “Top Gun” are hotly anticipating the sequel — and to know exactly what the stunt-happy star will be flying into the danger zone in the in-the-works film.

Folks who like to go into a movie completely in the dark about what they’re going to see, proceed at your own caution.

Maxim reports that judging by  new images of Cruise sporting a blacked-out flight suit (the pics originally appeared on The Hollywood Pipeline), the star’s “ride could be a stealthy reconnaissance aircraft.”

Maxim goes on to note that The Aviationist, an outlet that specializes in military- and flight-related subjects, checked out the pictures with a focus on what Cruise’s Maverick is wearing. “The interesting thing is that the flight suit appears to be a high-altitude pressure suit similar to the actual ones worn by high altitude reconnaissance pilots in aircraft like the U-2 and SR-71.

Then again, appearances can be deceiving. We’ll know for sure when the movie flies into multiplexes in 2020.
