A Washington Examiner reporter posted a picture to social media of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, claiming it’s proof the newly elected member of congress isn’t “struggling” for money.

“Hill staffer sent me this pic of Ocasio-Cortez they took just now,” reporter Eddie Scarry’s  now-deleted tweet read, according to NBC News. “I’ll tell you something: that jacket and coat don’t look like a girl who struggles.”

Scarry’s tweet follows Ocasio-Cortez’s comments to The New York Times that she would have some difficulty paying for an apartment in Washington D.C. until her congressional salary kicks in next year.

Many on Twitter came to Ocasio-Cortez’s defense and lambasted the conservative reporter.

“Would you call a male member of congress a boy?” tweeted Vox‘s Liz Plank. “Would you post a creep shot of them only to insult their appearance? You should be ashamed of yourself.”

Ocasio-Cortez responded to the tweet herself, saying those who oppose her would criticize her outfit choice no matter what she wore.
