Christiane Amanpour Will Replace Charlie Rose on PBS

She will start Dec. 11.

CNN chief international correspondent Christiane Amanpour will be replacing Charlie Rose’s interim replaces on PBS, the network announced. The new program will be 30 minutes on Monday night starting Dec. 11.

Neal Shapiro, president and CEO of WNET said that she is a “fearless and uncompromising journalist.” Charlie Rose had aired on PBS since 1991, but he was fired last month after multiple allegations of sexual harassment.
