For the last week, it ’s been unclear if the world will get to see the 60 Minutes interview with Stormy Daniels, the porn star who allegedly had an affair with Donald Trump but has been silenced by his lawyer for over a year. Until now, CBS has been silent. But according to The Washington Post, an air date has been set: March 25. Daniels is expected to reveal details about the alleged affair, which she says started at a celebrity golf tournament in 2006, soon after Melania Trump gave birth to her and Donald’s son. Interviews like this are rating gold for the network. Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, has been driving the narrative through social media. Rumors were swirling that CBS was holding off on setting an air date because of threats from Trump’s lawyers. Avenatti added to that speculation this weekend when he tweeted a BuzzFeed report quoting an anonymous source saying they “are preparing to file for a legal injunction to prevent it from airing.” Daniels could be charged $1 million each time she defies the confidentiality agreement she has with Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen.
