NASA Confirms Astronauts in Space Will Watch ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’

They will use one of the laptops or projector onboard the space station.

A galaxy far, far away will soon be in our orbit. Astronauts aboard the International Space Station will be able to watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi while orbiting a few hundred miles above the surface of the Earth. Space reporter Robin Seemangal tweeted the news last night.

Astronauts will use a laptop or project onboard the space station, confirmed NASA public affairs officer Dan Huot. He said they typically get movies as digital files and can play them onboard. This isn’t the first time the ISS will have a movie night, as the space station is stocked with an extensive digital library of more than 500 titles. But try not to send them any spoilers, as there is no definitive timeline yet.
