Anthony Scaramucci is best known for his short-lived, 10-day stint in the Trump White House. As communications director, he constantly made headlines. About six months later, The Mooch still spend his time defending Donald Trump. In a series of three interviews with Vanity Fair, Scaramucci talks about his life before the White House. He grew up as an Italian kid in Port Washington, on Long Island. His father spent 42 years digging up the sand that was used to build up Manhattan skyscrapers. His dad cashed an insurance policy in order to send Scaramucci to Tufts, where he played football. He went on to Harvard Law, then Goldman Sachs. But he said all of this didn’t prepare him for what was to come in D.C. “I want you to imagine the worst person that you’ve met on Wall Street, the most ruthless and the most diabolical,” he told Vanity Fair. “That’s the best person in Washington. That’s the Eagle Scout of Washington.” In the interview, Scaramucci says that Steve Bannon is the “ultimate swamp creature,” that Reince Priebus acts like “Richie Cunningham,” and Donald Trump is like “Michael Jordan.”
