Alyssa Milano Calls Red MAGA Hats, ‘The New White Hood’

Actress and #MeToo advocate compares Trump supporters to KKK.

Actress Alyssa Milano liberally sprinkled some vitriol on all Trump supporters.

On Sunday, the 46-year-old actress tweeted that the “The red MAGA hat is the new white hood,” an allusion to the white robes of the Ku Klux Klan and an implication that the president inspires racism.

“Without white boys being able to empathize with other people, humanity will continue to destroy itself. #FirstThoughtsWhenIWakeUp,” she tweeted.

The tweet seemed to be a reference to the controversy over the face-off  between students from Covington Catholic High School and Native American Vietnam veteran Nathan Phillips at this weekend’s March for Life protest. Viral video from the incident has angered many on the left because of what they perceived as racism directed towards Phillips.
