They say that you can’t put a price on happiness, but it appears Putnam Leasing just did: 25,339 per month.
That’s the leasing amount the Greenwich-based exotic- and classic-car finance company is offering for a 60-month lease term on one of Pagani’s new 238-MPH Huayra Roadsters.
Said to be the most expensive new-car lease in history, leasing one of the 100 Huayra Roadsters that were hand-built by Pagani also requires making a down payment of $700,000.
Priced at up to $3 million, the carbon-fiber Italian hypercar boasts a 0 – 60 time of 2.8 seconds courtesy of a twin-turbo V12 engine packing 740 pound-feet of torque as well as 764 ponies.
“This is the most complicated project we have ever undertaken,” Horacio Pagani previously said of the Huayra Roadster. “Engaging in such a challenge, to make just 100 cars, has meant an impressive effort for a company like ours, from a technical and human point of view. We hope that this six-year effort can get to touch you, rationally and emotionally.”
Thanks to Putnam’s new leasing program, maybe now it actually can.
