Here’s What a $21,000 Bugatti Veyron Oil Change Looks Like

You can’t exactly take a Bugatti to Pep Boys or Jiffy Lube.

When Floyd Mayweather paid $25,000 to get the oil on his Bugatti changed back in February, he got ripped off – but not by much.

The standard price of changing the oil on a $1.5 million Bugatti Veyron is a staggering $21,000, about 1.4 percent of the super car’s base price.

One of the reasons for the high price is it sounds impressive, but another is that getting at the 16 different drain plugs in the Veyron’s oil system requires removing parts of the underbody, rear fender liners, and rear deck – very, very carefully.

Granted, if you’re already shelling out $1.5 million for the car, that’s a drop in the bucket, but $21k isn’t exactly chump change, no matter who you are.

That’s why Royalty Exotic Cars owner Houston Crosta decided to change the oil on his personal Bugatti himself instead of shelling out a month’s salary to do it. Luckily, he filmed it.

We’ll let Crosta and Royalty Exotic Cars take it from here:
