First Trailer for Stephen King’s ‘It’ Released, Scares Away Horror of Terrible 1990 TV Movie

Movies By

Movie fans have literally been waiting 27 years for a do-over.

If you made the mistake of tuning in to the 1990 TV movie version of Stephen King’s It—maybe the horror author’s most frightening creation ever—you’ll know that, while terrible, it had potential written all over it because of the source material.

The story follows Bill Denbrough, whose younger brother George is attacked and murdered by a saber-toothed clown named Pennywise, who lives in a drain. Scared yet? Denbrough and his fellow teenage outcasts then make a pact to stop “it” once and for all—whatever it takes.

As of today, we now have proof that someone in movie-land has heard our prayers. Watch the first teaser trailer for a reboot below.
