Minus several hundred thousand points for Hufflepuff!

Amazon UK released data on all things Harry Potter-related to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first book in the series. The retailer aggregated information from purchases and reviews to Kindle reading habits to create a treasure trove of information on fans of the J.K. Rowling septology.

Among the data dump, one thing was clear: fans do not like Hufflepuff. Out of the four houses at the wizardry school Hogwarts, its merchandise is purchased the least on Amazon. In fact, Gryffindor, the favorite house, sold eleven times more products than Hufflepuff.

There is plenty of magic, however, elsewhere in the franchise.

Over the last 20 years, 180 different versions of Harry Potter books have been sold on Amazon. In total, they’ve amassed 17,000 five-star reviews.

According to the Book Seller, Kindle reading habits also revealed Dumbledore is the only character from the series that is featured in the top five most highlighted passages by readers across all digital titles.

Amazon also said that the franchise’s last film adaptation, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two is the United Kingdom’s most purchased film on the site. The 8-film collection has sold enough copies that amount to 975 years if watched consecutively without stopping.
