This one’s for fans of Tolouse-Lautrec’s “Nude Descending a Staircase, No. 2.”

If you happened upon Los Angeles–based filmmaker David Lewandowski’s first video, “Going to the Store,” which he published to YouTube in 2011, and is just 48 seconds long, you’ll be familiar with his highly flexible, “naked” character that contorts its body into obscure shapes and angles, while it circumnavigates a normal-looking street. (His idea of nakedness is basically a genitalia-less doll of a figure, so there’s no NSFW-ness involved.) The video garnered an incredible 27 million views.

There’s also the slightly longer “Late for a Meeting,” which garnered 30.6 million views.

Now, Lewandowski’s outdone himself with his latest feat of weirdness, dropping “Time for Sushi,” which features a whole lot more awkward nakedness, but also evokes some whimsical poignancy. Take a look at it above.
