Artist Uses Garbage Lid and Sunlight to Create Masterpieces

Michael Papadakis has a night-job so he can moonlight during day creating his art.

One man’s trash is another artist’s treasure.

Michael Papadakis, who hails from Colorado, uses a garbage lid to burn his masterpieces into wood.

The 30-year-old artist uses a piece of reflective material over the lid to create a vacuum inside. The results are parabolic designs that are burned into place by refracted and reflected by sunlight, he told Caters News.
