The latest design for the new Google campus in Mountain View, California, has just been released, according to DeZeen.

The project from BIG and Heatherwick Studio, first announced in 2015, now features a more compact design. The building will primarily serve as a space for the tech behemoth’s employees, with most of the labs and offices on the ground floor. The Dutch and British firms used a minimalist palette of glass and steel for the structure’s interior.

Renderings of the building, which will regulate indoor climate, sound, and air quality, show a metallic, tent-like canopy with a subtle, wave-like surface texture. In a 67-page proposal submitted to the Mountain View City Council, Google says the roof will include solar panels as well. It plans for swaths of green space and pedestrian walkways to ring the building.

Google’s newest proposal comes after having swapped real estate with LinkedIn in 2016, after both encountered development issues with sites for their future campuses. Under the old plans, BIG would build Google’s campus using robots, but the new location near Charleston Park is smaller. That aspect of the plan may have been nixed since there’s no mention of it in Google’s latest proposal.
