Meet The Circus-Trained Norwegian That Hangs Over Cliffs For Fun

36-year-old Eskil Rønningsbakken is the rare person who actually did run away with the circus. He enjoyed the freedom of growing up in the Norwegian countryside, but wanted to see the world. That’s why he became obsessed with the circus, following one at age 12 and getting a job with the circus at 17, at which point he abandoned school. He has devoted his life to balancing acts.

This video marks a sort of homecoming, as he returns to Norway’s countryside to show off his skills atop cliffs, canyons, and other places that are both very beautiful and appear extremely dangerous.
